This might be a sight to see for aviation lovers. The world's largest plane has landed in Australia for the first time, attracting thousands of people to Perth airport.

The Ukrainian cargo jet named "Mriya" is the longest and heaviest airplane ever built. The aircraft measures over 84 meters from head to tail and 88 meters from one wing tip to another and weighs around 600 tons.

On its first-ever journey to Australia, it delivered a power generator from the Czech Republic to be used at a state mine site.

Thousands of aircraft enthusiasts gathered at the airport's temporary viewing area to get a glimpse of the beast.

The aircraft made stops in Turkey and Malaysia before touching down in Perth . It will now travel to Italy with a massive rotor onboard.
