Shanghai Disneyland gives cultural touch to performances
A new Disney land constructed in Shanghai, has added some Chinese touch to the performance of its famous characters. Imagine Donald Duck practicing Tai Chi moves.
The Disney theme park will officially open on June 16th. There’s a trial period during which visitors can watch famous icons practicing Tai Chi along with a master every day. Children love seeing their favorite characters doing the Chinese exercise .
There have also been 12 Disney characters presented as twelve friends to match the Chinese Zodiac animals.
The creators of the fantasy world say that they want Chinese guests to have a sense of familiarity as they interact with the characters.
