South Korean A-bomb victims seek apology in Obama’s Hiroshima visit

United States dropped atomic bombs on Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II which killed hundreds of thousands of people.

When the United States dropped atomic bombs on Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II, hundreds of thousands of people were killed. Tens of thousands of those people were South Koreans. Today the few thousand survivors seek some measure of compensation, and are planning to bring up their cause during US President Barrack Obama’s upcoming visit to Hiroshima.
