Spanish designer creates green cell phone charger

A Spanish designer has created a green cell phone charger that charges your phone with the power of a plant.

Demand for green energy has been on the rise in the past few years. Now, a Spanish researcher has managed to contribute to the campaign by inventing an environment-friendly approach to charging cell phones.

Vidarte presented the ground-breaking invention in Barcelona. He says the futuristic pot can generate constant amount of electricity no matter what kind of plant is grown in it. The charger plant is expected to go on sale by the end of 2016.
