Two Iranian referees to officiate at Asian Squash Team Championships

Iranian referees Mehdi Mokhtari and Elham Ramezani are going to officiate at the 18th edition of Asian Squash Team Championships, which are scheduled to be staged in Chinese Taipei later this month.

On Tuesday, the Asian Squash Federation (ASF) Referees Committee picked the pair for the forthcoming continental sporting event.

The 18th edition of Asian Squash Team Championships will kick off in Chinese Taipei on May 11, and will run through May 15, 2016.

The tournament will be held at National Taiwan University and New Taipei City Xin Wu Tai Civil Sport Center in Taipei City.

All men’s pool matches together with men’s 5th, 8th, 9th and 15th position knockout matches will be played at National Taiwan University.

On the other hand, all women’s pool matches, women’s quarter-finals plus women’s 5th and 8th position knockout matches will be staged at New Taipei City Xin Wu Tai Civil Sport Center.

Each team taking part in the five-day event can have a maximum of four players and two officials.
