Atletico Madrid followed up their Barcelona heroics by knocking another favorite out of the Champions League, as a 2-1 defeat to Bayern Munich still sends them through to the final on away goals.

Diego Simeone's men first saw their 1-nil advantage from the first leg erased when Xabi Alonso scored from a deflected free-kick in the 31st minute.

Hero of the night Yan Oblak then denied Thomas Muller from the penalty spot just 3 minutes later.

Goalscoring machine, Antoine Griezmanne leveled the match at 1-all after converting a swift counter attack.

In the 74th minute, Alaba’s cross was headed back into the danger area by Arturo Vidal for Robert Lewandowski to head the ball into the net.
