British inventor builds incredible hoverbike

Colin Furze takes his hoverbike for a spin.

A British inventor has built something unique in the backyard of his home.

32-year-old Colin Furze recently shared a video of his new invention that went viral on social media. It’s a metallic hoverbike that uses propellers to float a few inches off the ground.

It took him four to five weeks to construct the prototype. The bike, however, is without proper seating, breaks or a steering mechanism, as these items would have made it too heavy to fly. It’s amazing considering that Furze is a plumber and not an engineer.

Furze says his inventions are meant to show that a person doesn’t need advanced tools and degrees to create marvels.
