David Cameron, the British prime minister, recently caused a furor among Muslim women in the UK by describing them as submissive.

In a private conversation reported by mainstream media, the PM discussed a special fund to teach the English language to Muslim women, suggesting that their inability to speak the language meant they could not integrate into the society and were thus more prone to extremism.

The anything but submissive Muslim women took to the Twitter to challenge Cameroon’s view with stormy tweets showcasing their great contribution and success in the UK.
