In the English Premier League, Liverpool have smashed 10-Men Everton 4-nil in the Merseyside derby at Anfield.
The reds dominated the first half and scored 2 goals through Divock Origi and Mamadou Sakho. Daniel Sturridge then made it 3-nil after the break by collecting a Lucas pass and coolly slotting it into the bottom-left corner. And, Philippe Coutinio completed the victory in style by curling in from the edge of the area to make it 4-nil.
The result keeps Liverpool in with an outside chance of a top-four finish. They are now seventh on 54 points, 6 behind Arsenal in fourth while Everton are 11th on 41 points.
