Shocking video shows US cop slamming female teen on concrete

This is not the first time a US cop has been caught on video beating a student.

Gruesome footage has emerged showing a US police officer slamming a 12-year-old female student on the concrete floor.

Joshua Kehm, a police officer at Rhodes Middle School in San Antonio Independent School District based in Downtown San Antonio, Texas, appears to knock the middle school girl briefly unconscious.

The move followed verbal aggression between two students around 4 pm on March 29, SAISD spokeswoman Leslie Price told local media Wednesday.

The incident happens as other students can be heard screaming and crying to prevent the cop from struggling with the student.

“District administration learned late (Tuesday) night about the incident and the video,” Price said, adding Kehm has been placed on paid administrative leave amid an investigation into the misconduct.

“This video is very concerning, and we are working to get all of the details,” Price said. “We certainly want to understand what all occurred, and we are not going to tolerate excessive force in our district.”

Early in March, another video went viral showing a teenage student being severely beaten by a school police officer in Baltimore, Maryland.

A shocking footage of a white male police officer slamming a black girl to the ground and dragging her at a high school in the US state of South Carolina also sparked nationwide outrage in the US in October.
