Mercedes have dominated both Practice Sessions ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix, with Formula One Championship Leader Nico Rosberg keeping the UPPER HAND on 3-time Defending Champion Lewis Hamilton.
Rosberg who won the season-opening race in Australia, posted the fastest times in both sessions on Friday.
The 30-year-old German produced a lap time of One minute 31.001 seconds to edge Hamilton by 0.241 seconds in the 2nd session.
McLaren’s Jenson Button was 3rd fastest, more than a second OFF the pace.
Meanwhile, the team’s reserve driver Stoffel Vandoorn ended the session in 11th, replacing Fernando Alonso who was ruled-out by FIA doctors due to medical reasons.
