Djokovic beats Sousa, eases into Miami last 16

Five-time Miami champion Novak Djokovic remains on course for another title after downing Portugal`s Joao Sousa 6-4, 6-1 in the third round of the Miami Open.

On Sunday, Sousa won 9 of 12 points returning the second Djokovic serve and broke the world No. 1 twice in the 1st set to make things difficult for the Serb.

However, Djokovic stepped up his game to close out the straight sets win in 78 minutes and kept his record of never losing a set to the Portuguese.

Djokovic is on course to match Andre Agassi’s record of 6 Miami Open titles.
