Separate shootings claim 6 lives in North Carolina

Gun violence continues to plague the United States. In the last 48 hours, six people have been killed in two separate shooting incidents in the state of North Carolina.
Three people were fatally shot inside a house in Louisburg, a town in Franklin County on Saturday afternoon. According to a local police officer, a fourth person who survived the attack, provided details about the suspect. No arrests have been made in the case yet. The shooting occurred hours after a North Carolina man shot and killed three people during a dispute with neighbors in Wake County. The assailant, who later surrendered to police, has been charged with murder. An average of 87 gun deaths and 183 injuries are recorded in the US each day.
