Belgian police conduct new raids, arrest three

Heavily armed Belgian police have conducted more raids linked to this week's bombings in Brussels, as well as a suspected new plot in France.
The police arrested at least three suspects. Two of them were wounded during the raids. According to the Belgian federal prosecutors, one of the bombers at the Brussels Airport was also the suspected bomb-maker whose DNA was found on a suicide vest and bomb used in last year’s bloody attacks in French capital. Sources familiar with the case also say the other two bombers of this week’s attacks in Brussels were on a US counterterrorism watch list. Meanwhile, Thousands gathered in the Belgian capital, Brussels, to pay their respects to the victims of the airport and metro bombings. The mourners gathered at Plass de la Bourse and paid their tribute to the 31 people killed in the attacks.
