World leaders condemn deadly Brussels attacks

World leaders have denounced the deadly attacks in Brussels. They have expressed sympathy with the people and government of Belgium. Condemning the attacks, French President Francois Hollande said the blasts hit the whole of Europe. He called for taking vital steps in the face of the seriousness of the threats. The French Prime Minister also described the attacks as acts of war against Europe. Meanwhile, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu denounced the bombings, saying they showed once again the face of global terrorism. German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said that the blasts are aimed at the entire European Union and its freedoms. Pope Francis also slammed the blind violence, offering his prayers for the victims. Reacting to the blasts, the Russian Foreign Ministry criticized the West's double standards in fighting terrorism.
