Ankara says a Turkish national, who was a member of the Daesh terrorist group, carried out the deadly bombing in a major shopping area in the central Istanbul on Saturday. The ministry said that the suicide bomber was not on the Turkish security services’ list of wanted people. He added that five people have been arrested on suspicion of links to the attack on Istiklal Street. The attack left one Iranian tourist and three American-Israelis dead and dozens of others wounded. The bombing came six days after an attack at a busy square in the capital Ankara that killed 35 people. It was claimed by a Kurdish militant group.
