'Trump must end US support of Israel if he becomes president'

Donald Trump has to get “the United States out of these worthless foreign wars; he has to decouple American foreign policy from Israel and from an absolute support of the Zionist state,” said Mark Dankof,

US Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump must end America’s foreign wars and Washington’s support of Israel if he becomes president, a former US Senate candidate says.

Trump has to get “the United States out of these worthless foreign wars; he has to decouple American foreign policy from Israel and from an absolute support of the Zionist state,” said Mark Dankof, who is also a broadcaster and pastor in San Antonio, Texas.

“And he has to get some of these other countries that have been on this American defense gravy train to take care of their own interests, both Japan and South Korea among others, as well as all these Western European countries,” Dankof told Press TV on Saturday.

Dankof also said the next US president must put an end to the outsourcing the nation’s manufacturing base by the financial elite which has taken place at the expense of millions of US jobs.

“What we have in the United States is an economic globalist elite that is supporting…globalist trade treaties that has exported the American manufacturing economy abroad  in order to maximize the profits of less than 1% of the American people,” he observed.

On Friday, US Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump criticized America’s standing as a ‘third world country’ that is falling behind China and several other developing countries.

"We have become a third world country, folks!," Trump told supporters at an election rally in Salt Lake City, Utah.

"If you go to places like Dubai, China, you look at the roads, at the rail roads, they have the bullet trains that go 100s of miles an hour. And if you go to New York, they're like 100 years ago," he said.

Trump pledged to change things if he is elected president in the November election.

"We are going to bring wealth back again because our country is a poor country. We have a deficit that you cannot believe. We're sitting on a bubble, very dangerous bubble. We are sitting on a big fat ugly bubble. At some point unless we act quickly and smartly, it is going to explode. You need the right people. We have the wrong people now," he said.

Trump, who has never held elected office, is currently leading the race for the Republican presidential nomination. His campaign has been marked by controversial statements, including disparaging remarks about women, Mexican immigrants and Muslims.
