KKK leader endorses Hillary Clinton for president
A senior member of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) white supremacist group has endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton because of her "hidden agenda."
Will Quigg, a "grand dragon" of the KKK's California chapter, told the Telegraph that he would be switching his support from Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump to Clinton.
Quigg bases his support on his belief that Clinton is making false promises in her presidential campaign. Once she gets elected, he says, her agenda will completely shift.
"We want Hillary Clinton to win," he said. "She is telling everybody one thing, but she has a hidden agenda."
"She’s telling everybody what they want to hear so she can get elected. Once she’s in the presidency, she’s going to come out and her true colors are going to show,” Quigg said.
"Border policies are going to be put in place. Our second amendment rights that she’s saying she’s against now, she’s not against. She’s just our choice for the presidency."
Quigg had endorsed Trump as recently as September, tweeting that Trump was "the only hope we have of getting WHITE AMERICA BACK!"
When asked by the Telegraph about Clinton’s "hidden agenda," Quigg said, "I cannot reveal my sources."
Quigg provided a set of reasons why his support for Trump has waned. "He won’t do what he says he will do. He says he’s going to build a 20-foot high fence along with border with Mexico and make them pay. How’s he going to do that?"
Trump was recently criticized for failing to disavow the endorsement of former KKK leader David Duke. However, he later disavowed Duke’s vote of confidence after coming under intense pressure.
