Iraqi forces seize control of some 64 towns and villages west of Samarra, disconnecting Daesh bastions in the west from the terror group’s strongholds north of the country. This, as Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units say they will take part in the decisive battle to retake Mosul. Press TV’s Altaf Ahmad reports from the battlefield west of the holy city of Samarra.
