Iran denounces double-standards in human rights

The head of Iran’s High Council for Human Rights says the country’s laws on crimes related to drug trafficking can be revised in order to reduce the number of executions. Mohammad Javad Larijani has also called for a non-politicized approach by the UN Human Rights Council towards the situation of human rights in Iran.
