It needs a creative mind to see beauty in rubbish. An Iraqi man has found a new use for abandoned tires. He has created interesting pieces of furniture out of unused tires.
Ahmed Hameed Hamza is a tire repairer from a province in south of Baghdad. He first started making chairs and little tables from tires to make extra money.
Now, he creates different pieces and has found his own customers. Since the country is facing harsh financial conditions, cheap furniture such as these are expected to find their way in people’s homes.
