Museveni declared winner of Uganda’s presidential runoff

Uganda’s electoral commission has declared the ruling party candidate, incumbent President Yoweri Museveni, as the winner of the election. But his main rival has rejected the results as fraudulent and called for an independent audit of the count. The ruling party has rejected the allegations and says the opposition made such a claim to justify its loss. Our Correspondent Daniel Arapmoi brings us the latest from Kampala.
