UNHCR warns of humanitarian crisis with more border fences

Refugees seeking safety in Europe are losing their right to life, a fair asylum procedure and access to basic public services on a daily basis. A UN Refugee Agency official says erecting more border fences will lead to a humanitarian crisis. European Parliament members say unless there’s a common asylum policy, things are only going to get worse.
