Russia blasts Turkey for shelling northern Syria
Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has warned about enemy plans to interfere in the country’s upcoming elections. Ayatollah Khamenei called on the Iranian nation to act against such plots. The Leader noted that the enemy seeks to label the elections and the parliament as illegal.
A senior Iranian Oil Ministry official says Tehran will keep increasing crude exports until it reaches the level before the sanctions were imposed on the country. Tehran’s OPEC envoy, Mahdi Asali, made the announcement despite a proposal by four oil producing countries to cap production amid concerns over declining prices.
Russia has blasted Turkey for shelling of northern Syria, saying the artillery strikes are QUOTE absolute lawlessness. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova says Turkey shells settlements across the border and sends people and supplies there.The UN Security Council has also has urged Turkey to comply with international law.
The Syrian envoy to the UN, Bashar Ja’afari, has criticized Turkey’s actions regarding the war in Syria. Ja’afari says Turkey is trying to pull others into the Syria conflict. He has held Turkey responsible for buying oil, gas and artifacts from Daesh terrorists.
Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi says any deployment of missiles on China’s territory would be legitimate. The remark comes in response to reports that Beijing has deployed an advanced missile system on one of the disputed islands in the South China Sea.
Saudi Arabia has carried out fresh airstrikes on Yemen. More than a dozen people have been killed after Saudi warplanes targeted areas across the country. The Saudi war on Yemen has claimed more than 83-hundred lives since March last year.
