FIFA candidate arrives in Tehran in bid for votes

UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino, has arrived in Tehran to visit the Iranian Football Federation and the country's National Football Academy.

The candidate of the upcoming FIFA presidential elections, Gianni Infantino, has arrived in Tehran to sit with the Iranian Football Federation to exchange views on the issue.

During his one-day trip to the Iranian capital, Infantino will discuss ways to develop football in Iran and the world alike.

The UEFA senior official is also going to visit the country's National Football Academy. Infantino will address a press conference and respond to questions from reporters.

Infantino who is currently the UEFA General Secretary is trying to get votes for the next FIFA presidential elections. The elections are scheduled to be held in Zurich on the 26th of February 2016.
