Obama represents Democratic criminal enterprise: Analyst

Barack Obama represents the criminal US Democratic enterprise, says Mickey Z.

US President Barack Obama and Senator Bernie Sanders are representatives of the Democratic Party as a component of a vast criminal enterprise, says an American writer and political analyst.

Mickey Z., the author of Occupy this Book, made the comments in an interview with Press TV regarding an online petition demanding Obama’s prosecution as a war criminal.

The president’s failure to deliver on his 2008 campaign promise of closing down the notorious military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; his record in dealing with various conflicts in the Middle East; and Washington’s illegal surveillance programs, ran by the country’s intelligence and security organizations, are cited in the petition as some of the reasons for holding Obama accountable.

Two days into its launch on the White House website, the petition has gotten more than 4,000 signatures.

“Eight years ago, Obama played the role of liberal savior and thus diverted activist energies into electoral politics. What he delivered in return is partially described in the war crimes petition posted to the White House website,” Mickey Z. said Wednesday.

Referring to Bernie Sanders’ decisive victory over Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire primaries, the analyst said that there is something to be learned from the timing of this petition and Sanders’ vote.

“Campaigning for Obama in 2008 wasn’t radical and campaigning for Feel The Bern today doesn’t make you a revolutionary or even a progressive. To support someone like Sanders is to support the Democrats which is to support the two-party lie which is to support an omnicidal system and all the carnage it creates,” he explained.

“So if you plan to vote for yet another lesser evil, go ahead. But vote or no vote, all that matters is what you’re doing the other 364.99 days to bring down the system Obama and Sanders represent and defend,” he continued.

If by March 9, the petition which was published on Monday gets 100,000 signatures, the White House administration will be required to respond to it.
