It appears that some customers don't need a reservation to get into a restaurant. And that is the case with this hungry sea lion pup who has found its way into the booth of a fancy eatery in the US.

The pup was found by the cleaning crew at the Marine Room restaurant in San Diego. The 8-month-old female lion was underfed and dehydrated.

It is not clear how the little one managed to get inside. But it was eventually rescued and taken to an Animal Rescue Center where she is recovering.

The mammals are increasingly being found on land in places they were never meant to be, partly because of changing weather conditions driving them ashore
