Spanish giants Barcelona have regained their three-point lead over Atletico Madrid at the top of La Liga standings following a 2-nil win at Levante.

Barcelona, who were coming off a 7-nil thrashing of Valencia in the King's Cup, were far from their best on Sunday. However, they were lucky to take the lead in the 21st minute when Levante defender David Navarro turned an Iniesta cross into his own net.

The Catalans had to wait until stoppage time to seal the win through Luis Suarez. With Levante pressing for an equalizer, the Uruguayan caught the hosts off guard and finished off a fast counter-attack with his 20th Liga goal.

The match on Sunday was manager Luis Enrique's 100th game in charge of Barcelona. The Catalan giants are now on a 28-game unbeaten run in all competitions, equaling their own record from the 2010-2011 season.
