Palestinian Journalists syndicate and the highest committee of Palestinian prisoners' affairs, have called for an immediate release of hunger-striking Palestinian journalist Mohammed al-Qiq. The groups made the plea after Qiq’s doctors warned about his life-threatening conditions. Qiq has gone on a hunger-strike since months ago in protest at being held in an Israeli jail without charge or trial.
