Russian scientists have developed a software which can help a person control a wheelchair with his mind.
The software was developed by a group of scientists at National Research Nuclear University of Moscow.
The project is to help those who are completely immobilized such as patients with severe motor-function diseases or paralysis.
Other than thought, the wheelchair can also be controlled using hand or eye-movements captured with a laptop camera.
The designers hope they can integrate the camera into the chair in later designs.
The technology has long been an interesting subject for scientists and has already been developed in other countries such as Japan and United States.
