The visiting Memphis Grizzlies have defeated the New York Knicks 91-85 with the help of Jeff Green at the Madison Square Garden.

The visitors started strong on Friday and outscored New York 24-18 in the opening period to put themselves ahead by 6 points. The Grizzlies then carried their momentum into the second frame and extended their lead to 50-40 at the intermission.

The Knicks, however, came back and managed to cut Memphis' advantage to 69-62 by the end of the third quarter. The Grizzlies then extended their lead to 10 points through Green's awesome slam dunk, but they just could not pull away.

In the final minute, Arron Afflalo's 3-pointer brought New York within two. But, he missed a chance to tie the game with 10 seconds left and the Grizzlies held on to win the match 91-85 to post their 5th straight win.
