Palestinian hospitals and Paramedics have always been targeted by Israeli military forces. The medical staffs in Palestine have recorded violations being practiced against them since the first Intifada.

Over the past 30 years, Palestinian paramedics and medical staff members have been shot, killed or arrested by the Israeli military forces.

Despite the hardships they face, these people have a sense of duty toward the sick, wounded and the injured and perform their duties with the highest professional sense.

In 2015, the situation has not changed for Palestinian medical crews. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society has registered over 300 violations against their teams of Paramedics and volunteers alone.

The aforementioned violations range from being shot at with rubber coated or live ammunition, tear gas, pepper spray or even physical assault.

The Israeli military forces have stormed hospitals in Nablus, al-Khalil (Hebron) as well as in al-Quds (Jerusalem) and have arrested patients from hospitals.
