Iranian Navy troops continue maneuvers in Sea of Oman

Thousands of Iranian Navy troops continue their maneuvers in southern Iran. The drills, dubbed Velayat 94, are conducted in the Sea of Oman, the Indian Ocean, and eastern areas of Hormuz Strait. On the second day of the drills, Iranian marine commandoes launched a coastal defense operation while helicopters conducted a number of successful operations at sea. Amir Mehdi Kazemi has this report from the command headquarters of the drills in Konarak, in southeastern Iran.
