People in southern Lebanon say they have captured a tagged vulture equipped with an Israeli location transmitter for espionage activities.

Residents in the town of Bint Jbeil captured the scavenging bird when it crossed a few kilometers into the Lebanese border on Tuesday.

Last summer, the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, announced that it had detected and captured a dolphin equipped with a video camera for an Israeli espionage operation off the shore of the Gaza Strip.
