FAO calls for $50 million aid for drought-ravaged Ethiopia

The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization is calling for an emergency 50-million-dollar aid to help drought-hit Ethiopians. The African country has been affected by the El Nino phenomenon, which has caused crop production to drop by 50 to 90 percent in some parts of the country.
