Robots work as chefs in Shanghai restaurant

A restaurant in the Chinese city of Shanghai has hired two very special chefs. “Toya” and “Kona” are not ordinary chefs, they're robots.

“Toyako Robot Ramen” is a restaurant in Hongkou district of Shanghai where the two robots work as chefs. The owner has spent 152,000 dollars to install these robo-chefs.

They're capable of preparing each bowl of ramen, a kind of noodle soup dish, in 90 seconds. Toya and Kona can make four different kinds of ramen, which are braised beef, beef, fish fillet, and seafood. Each bowl costs about 9 dollars which is considered expensive, but customers still seem to find it tasty.
