US moving towards war on China, Russia: Analyst

The US decision to place its military forces in South Korea on high alert “is a very serious move towards war” on China and Russia.

The decision has been made by the commander of combined US forces, Curtis Scaparrotti, during his visit to the Osan Air Base operated jointly by the US and South Korea, according to a United States Forces Korea (USFK) official.

According to Mike Billington, Asia editor for the Executive Intelligence Review, the world is on the verge of an economic crisis and China is most likely to survive, which cannot be tolerated by the United States.

“The world would go into the worst financial spiraling collapse on a global scale that we’ve seen actually worse than the 1920s and 30s and that’s exactly what’s begun, not only are the markets crashing, but the entire bond market has frozen as a result of the insanity of so-called bail-in where the banks are beginning to steal the bond holders’ deposits in banks across Europe and the United States,” Billington told Press TV on Monday.

“So this is a global crash. China will survive this, China’s market is in trouble and there are some slowdown, but they are, in fact, leading a global economic development process, building things all over the world,” he stated.

“And it’s this that the British empire cannot tolerate and [US President Barack] Obama as the leading tool of the global financial institution, known as the British empire, is committed to a war not only on Russia but on China.”

“The threat that’s now being carried out in South Korea against North Korea is not against North Korea. Although they go ahead and obliterate North Korea as they have (already destroyed) Iraq and Libya and they’re trying to do in Syria, but the target is China,” he said, noting Obama “is interested in building up forces for the attack on China.”

The US is now demanding that South Korea accept “the deployment of the high-altitude …missile which the South Koreans have adamantly refused because they recognize they’re not needed against North Korea and that the only reason the US wants them in South Korea is in preparation for war on Russia and China.”

Washington and Seoul are already in talks to send further strategic assets to the Korean peninsula.

"The United States and South Korea are continuously and closely having discussions on additional deployment of strategic assets," said Kim Min-seok, a spokesman at the South Korean Defense Ministry, declining to give specifics.

Also on Sunday, a powerful US long-range heavy bomber, B-52 Stratofortress, flew over South Korea as an indication of power from the United States following North Korea’s claims of a hydrogen bomb test on Wednesday.

Pyongyang argues that its nuclear program is aimed as deterrence against potential aggression from the United States.
