Study: Eating walnuts daily boosts memory

According to a new study eating just a handful of walnuts daily can sharpen your memory.

Most of us are used to eating snacks between meals. Snack lovers should know there’s nothing better than a handful of walnuts.

Walnuts are full of important chemicals that help your body ward off diseases like cancer, Type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer's disease and more. They're also packed with plenty of protein and fiber.

And a new study suggests that eating roughly six to seven whole walnuts a day could help improve your memory concentration and information processing speed.

To keep shelled nuts from going rotten, store them in the fridge for up to a month or in the freezer for up to a year.
