In China, stunning fireworks have lit up the sky over the world's largest ice and snow festival.

The opening ceremony of the 31st Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival included fireworks and Chinese traditional drumming. A large crowd of tourists from China and around the globe participated in the ceremony. The festival also showcased the works of ice and snow sculptors from across the world. The giant ice sculptures were beautifully illuminated in the night sky.
