US Muslims speak up against hate

American Muslims hand roses to strangers on the streets of the capital Washington DC to promote unity and a better understanding of Islam as a religion of peace. The gesture comes at a time when anti-Muslim sentiment has risen in the United States following terrorist attacks in California earlier this month by two ISIL followers.
