In this final edition of the show in 2015, we look back at what’s been another turbulent and tumultuous year for Palestine.

It’s been another bad year for Palestine. 2015 was the year when a third intifada broke out in the West Bank and Jerusalem al-Quds. 2015 was the year that the most right-wing regime in Israel’s history came to power. And 2015 was the year when the economic strangulation of Gaza was strengthened by Israel and Egypt.

A general uprising broke out in Jerusalem al-Quds in October in resistance to the Israeli occupation and oppression. The spark for the crisis was the daily violations of the al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem al-Quds and the oppression of Palestinians in the West Bank.

2015 was the 10th anniversary of Israel’s so-called withdrawal from Gaza, when over 8,000 Zionist settlers were forcibly evacuated from the Gaza Strip by the Israeli authorities.
