Pakistan withholds decision to join Saudi-led alliance

Islamabad appears to have been caught off guard after Saudi Arabia named Pakistan as part of a new 34-member alliance of Islamic countries against terrorism. Senior Pakistani officials have confirmed that the country was not consulted before inclusion in the alliance. Islamabad now says it needs clarification before deciding on joining the coalition.
