Is Chomsky complicit in covering up Western terrorism?

Noam Chomsky is a “proponent of the government explanations” of the JFK assassination and 9/11 “despite tons of evidence that proves that these official narratives are impossible,” American writer Walt Peretto says.

An American writer and socio-political psychologist says that it seems the role of Noam Chomsky is to divert attention from the evidence that proves that the 9/11 attack was an inside job, and provide intellectual credibility to the narratives disseminated by the Western corporate media.

Walt Peretto made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Tuesday while commenting on a recent statement by Chomsky in which he blamed the United States and its Western allies for last month's Paris terrorist attacks.

“Noam Chomsky, the innovative linguist who has made a career out of critiquing American foreign policy for well over 40 years, blames the US and its Western allies and their invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan last decade for the recent events in Paris where terrorist attacks supposedly occurred, as well as other recent terrorist narratives,” Peretto said.

“In the decades leading up to the crimes of 9/11, Chomsky was a strong critic of US covert adventures in Central and South America which propped up dictators and ran drugs and other commodities back into the United States to fund other intelligence adventures like destabilizing central cities, and preventing democratic movements in the Western hemisphere,” he said.

“Chomsky built up a strong reputation as a voice of truth that countered the Western corporate media and its role as the disinformation and propaganda arm of the Western criminal structure,” he stated.

“However, Chomsky claims to hold a more conventional opinion of both the JFK assassination in 1963 and the events of September 11, 2001. Essentially, Chomsky is a proponent of the government explanations of these two events despite tons of evidence that proves that these official narratives are impossible,” the analyst added.

How Chomsky misleading world

Peretto said “Chomsky blames 9/11, Paris, and other supposedly Muslim fundamentalist crimes as retaliatory in nature for the death and destruction caused by US and allied interventions in the Middle East.”

“Chomsky and his reputation as one of the world's leading intellects and foremost scholar on world affairs is misleading the world into believing that ‘Muslim fundamentalist’ criminal narratives portrayed by the West are revenge for US and allied carnage abroad,” he stated.

“Chomsky's role is to divert attention from the evidence that proves that the terrorist attacks on 9/11 were attributed to a cabal of international power brokers looking to profit from war and take over the currencies of several Middle Eastern countries and extract their resources, while bringing these countries under permanent Western control,” the commentator pointed out.

“Chomsky has stayed consistent to this formula for evaluating the rash of recent Muslim terrorist narratives. The Western mercenary proxy groups called ISIL or ISIS in the Western corporate media has taken responsibility for the Paris event which is reported to have led to the deaths of 130 people,” he continued.

“Chomsky fails to include the evidence that these terror groups are actually arms of the Western foreign policy of increasing dominance and control in the Middle East. Chomsky, in his role as intellectual scholar, brings academia into the narratives in order to lend intellectual credibility to these narratives disseminated by the Western corporate media,” the journalist underlined.

“So we have the official media complicit with these crimes against humanity and one of the most respected intellectuals in academia to lend credibility to this disinformation  and criminal cover-ups which arguably makes Noam Chomsky complicit as well, or misguided at the very least,” Peretto concluded.
