War criminal Clinton is the worst US presidential choice: Journalist

Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton

Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is the “worst presidential choice” among a “deplorable” bunch of hopefuls from both Republican and Democratic parties, an American author and radio host in Chicago says.

Stephen Lendman made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Monday while commenting on a statement by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump who said on Sunday that Clinton and President Barack Obama are responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths in Syria and Libya.

“Washington bears full responsibility for naked aggression against Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Donbass, Ukraine, as well as partnering with Israel against Palestinians,” Lendman said.

“Post-9/11, millions of lives were lost in these countries from war, related violence, disease, starvation and overall depravation - genocidal high crimes, continuing without letup on the phony pretext of humanitarian intervention and democracy building,” he added.

“As a US senator and mainly as Obama’s secretary of state, Hillary Clinton had direct involvement in what happened and continues unabated,” the analyst noted.

“She’s a war criminal multiple times over - the worst presidential choice among a deplorable array of aspirants from both parties, looking more like an FBI most wanted list than candidates for the nation’s highest office,” Lendman concluded.

About a dozen Republicans are seeking their party’s nomination for president but only a few are considered serious contenders.

Democrat frontrunner Clinton is competing against only one Democrat and one independent senator, Bernie Sanders, for the Democratic Party's nomination. Only Sanders is considered at all competitive in the early primaries, even as he operates with far less money than the former secretary of state.
