US uses ‘organized psychopathy’ to control masses: Analyst

“First [the US] government creates a problem -- in this case terrorism -- then it provides the solution... in exchange for protection,” Walt Peretto told Press TV on Sunday.

The United States government uses the technique of “organized psychopathy” to control the masses, according to an American writer and political analyst in Washington, DC.

Walt Peretto made the remarks in a phone interview with Press TV on Sunday, hours after the White House announced that President Barack Obama will address the nation from the Oval Office on Sunday night to discuss the recent shooting incident in San Bernardino, California.

According to a White House statement, Obama "will reiterate his firm conviction that ISIL will be destroyed and that the United States must draw upon our values -- our unwavering commitment to justice, equality and freedom -- to prevail over terrorist groups that use violence to advance a destructive ideology.”

Peretto said Obama is “expected to touch on terrorism here in the US and abroad -- most notably the ISIL proxies wreaking havoc in Syria and Iraq which is causing a destabilization process leading to an exodus of Syrian refugees fleeing their nation and heading to Europe and other destinations.”

On Wednesday, Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27, stormed a holiday party in San Bernardino, California, killing at least 14 people and injuring 21 in the deadliest mass shooting in the US in three years. Hours later, the couple died in a fire exchange with police.

Malik had allegedly pledged allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Daesh (ISIL) terrorist group, three US officials familiar with the investigation told CNN on Friday. On Saturday, the Takfiri group also claimed the couple as its followers.

Peretto said that Daesh was actually created by the West to bring down the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad “and render Syria into chaos as part of a domino game where one Middle Eastern and Muslim nation after the next loses its independence and is brought into the sphere of Western influence and monetary control.”

“By creating terrorism and packaging it in ‘Muslim fundamentalism,’ it also keeps the fire of fear burning in the minds of Westerners so that they seek protection from the very governments that created the problem in the first place,” he stated. “This is how 'organized psychopathy' controls the masses by using what is called the Hegelian Dialectic.”

“First government creates a problem -- in this case terrorism -- then it provides the solution in exchange for narrowing freedoms and human rights in exchange for protection,” the analyst explained.

“So on Sunday night Obama's job will be to sell this charade to the American people by sugar coating it in ‘values, commitment to justice, equality and freedom,’” Peretto observed.

Homeland Secretary Jeh Johnson said Saturday that the US is facing a new phase of homegrown terrorism and should toughen its security measures.

“We have moved to an entirely new phase in the global terrorist threat and in our homeland security efforts,” Johnson said in an interview with the New York Times on Saturday.

He said the government should take steps to increase airline security by placing more agents in overseas airports, boost standards for visa waiver programs, and reach out to communities to help identify potential threats.
