Two weeks into the blackout caused by saboteurs on Crimean-Ukrainian border, the peninsula is inching towards energy independence from Kiev. The power bridge linking Crimea and Russia is expected to cover the basic needs of the population in the coming weeks. This is while Kiev is keeping up its energy blockade on the Crimean peninsula.
