Some Muslim centers in Italy are said to be preaching fundamentalist ideologies; but the government is using the situation to crack down on all Islamic associations and mosques without exception. Muslims are a small minority in Italy. Now they fear the move would translate into more Islamophobia and cause further social problems for them. From Italy our correspondent Max Civili reports.
