Turkey’s free press under siege, opposition voices being silenced

Turkey is pressing ahead with its campaign of silencing voices of dissent. In recent days, Ankara has arrested several opposition figures and journalists on charges of disclosing Turkey’s links with anti-government militants in Syria. Journalists and activists, however, say they will remain committed to their mission of disseminating the truth and will not be terrified by the suffocating measures.
