Major General Qasem Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps

Major General Qasem Soleimani, a commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), dismisses rumors pertaining to his death or injury.

The commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force denied the recent rumors during a Sunday interview with Alwaght news portal in his office in Tehran.

Over the last few weeks, there have been widespread rumors that Soleimani has been killed or injured while battling the Daesh Takfiri terrorists in Syria. The IRGC has so far denied all of those rumors.

On Saturday, the terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) announced that Soleimani had been severely injured by shrapnel in Syria’s Aleppo two weeks ago and was being treated in Tehran.
