Press TV has interviewed Massoud Shadjareh, with the Islamic Human Rights Commission from London, and Jim W. Dean, managing editor of the Veterans Today from Atlanta, on Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei’s letter addressed to the Western youth.

Shadjareh believes that Ayatollah Khamenei's letter carries a message that “terrorism is terrorism” and “it does not matter where it takes place.”

He added that “there is no one group of people more victim than others,” thus, the “innocence of people in Paris is equal to the innocence of people in Beirut, and in the occupied territories [of Palestine], and Syria and elsewhere.”

The activist also said “there is no way in today’s world, we could actually find solution to terrorism in Paris and London, and exclude what is happening in Iraq and Syria and occupied Palestine or Beirut.”

Ayatollah Khamenei’s letter is inviting the youths to open their eyes, investigate and find answers to their questions, he argues, adding that it is a “fantastic” letter, prompting the minds of youths to be active, identify the problem and find solutions to them.

Dean, for his part, said Ayatollah Khamenei has motivated the Western youth to focus on the realities concerning the Palestinian cause, because the older people did not do anything to resolve the long-lasting problem in Palestine.

The Western media and the United Nations do not like to raise the issue of “state sponsor of terrorism” because they are reluctant to inform public opinion about the realities of the Middle East region, he said, adding that the alternative media is expected to share the message of Ayatollah Khamenei in order to enlighten public opinion.
